Learning in the Digital Age: ā€™eā€™ on the verge of extinction
This article looks at several aspects of use of technology in higher education. Two of the key strategic issues it identifies for higher education are:
"1. In terms of infrastructure, universities must prepare for a shift from fixed to wireless networks allowing students to access courses and services via a range of mobile devices.
2. We must enable our students to think and express themselves using multiple media representations."
